For The Daily Signal, I wrote about Virginia Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin modeling how states should work together with President-elect Donald Trump to enact a smart, conservative agenda. This is key leadership by Youngkin as some blue state governors vow to impede Trump’s agenda at every turn.
Fox News covered my work with Independent Women’s Voice to preserve economic freedom. Senate Republicans, along with principled, independent Senators, blocked a last-minute push by Democrats to secure partisan control of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). This is a major win for free enterprise, worker freedom, and independent contractors. It’s also a victory for freedom of speech for all, including Elon Musk. This allows President-elect Trump to name smart, new NLRB leadership.
Those of us concerned about U.S. polarization cannot overlook the abounding myths about evangelical Christians, including Trump voters. These perception gaps distort reality, fueling distrust and cultural conflict. New survey data by More In Common reveals flawed stereotypes and assumptions about evangelicals held by non-evangelicals. Learn more in my piece for The Daily Signal.
For Blaze Media, I reported how America’s suicide epidemic hits men hardest, as they account for 80% of suicides. Unfortunately, the mental health industry largely overlooks the power of faith and religious practice in reducing tragic "deaths of despair." Research consistently shows regular faith practice significantly lowers suicide, substance abuse, and depression rates. With our country facing a profound crisis of meaning, it’s time to reconnect men with purpose and healing through faith in God.
I appreciated Beliefnet’s coverage of my memoir, Motorhome Prophecies, describing it as a work that "inspires perseverance through any current circumstance or psychological burden, and encourages belief in God's power and desire to transform your life for the better."
