Families earn more and pay less under landmark 2017 tax reforms that must be extended

This could be a pivotal month as Americans receive needed tax relief. Washington is poised to adopt major tax reforms that keep families from seeing their tax bills shoot up next year.
The 2017 tax cuts helped American families and small businesses thrive, as I detailed for The Blaze Media. By 2019, median household income reached a record high, and millions of people, especially in female-headed households, rose out of poverty. Today, new polling from our team at Independent Women shows 79% of likely voters —including 80% of seniors, 78% of women, and 78% of independents— support extending these tax cuts.
Under President Trump’s leadership, deregulation helps families and small businesses by reducing inflation. In just the first 100 Days, Trump White House economists estimate $180 billion in savings, or $2,100 per family of four, over 10 years. As I explain for BBC News below, reversing Biden’s overregulation and extending the 2017 tax cuts are crucial to sustain economic growth.
