The Washington Times features 'Motorhome Prophecies'
Newspaper runs excerpt from my memoir on power of forgiveness
Greetings, and happy Friday. The Washington Times shared an excerpt from my memoir, Motorhome Prophecies about my journey of healing and forgiveness toward my father, who abused me and my siblings and drove many of us to the brink of suicide. After years of suffering and family estrangement, I found the strength to forgive Dad after accepting Christ as my Savior.
I reflect on how the absence of a healthy father figure can deeply impact a child's life and emphasize the importance of breaking the cycle of pain through forgiveness and faith. After years of alienation, I also recount meeting with my father, who now suffers from Alzheimer's, and my sense of peace after I released my resentment. During this reunion, I found the healing process was not just about my relationship with him but also about forgiving myself and others who hurt me.
I encourage others to seek forgiveness as a path to spiritual freedom and personal growth. Despite the profound scars left by abuse, God can use our suffering for a greater purpose and help transform our pain into strength and resilience.
For a deeper understanding of the power of forgiveness, I invite you to pick up a copy of Motorhome Prophecies. It offers an honest look at overcoming adversity through faith. If you feel it warrants it, we’d warmly welcome a 5-star review on Amazon.
Thank you for your continued support.
