One Big Beautiful Bill's Bet on the Future
'Trump Accounts' teach personal finance
Greetings, and happy July! Approaching Independence Day, may we honor the sacrifice, courage and conviction that built our nation. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
For The Daily Signal, I examined how President Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill" would establish $1,000 investment accounts for every U.S. newborn—a transformative approach to financial empowerment. With 71% of low-income families not owning any stock and Social Security nearing collapse, these tax-free "Trump Accounts" offer powerful lessons in personal investing as the funds must be invested in a low-cost, diversified U.S. stock index fund or equivalent. The program teaches free-market principles to a generation failed by government mismanagement.
As I shared during a recent appearance on BBC News, those of us witnessing urban decay—including the recent Los Angeles riots—cannot ignore California's collapse under Gavin Newsom’s leadership. Exposed in Fool’s Gold, the explosive new book by Susan Crabtree and Jedd McFatter, Newsom’s radical policies unleash violent crime, force millions of households into financial decline, and drive businesses to flee oppressive regulations. Californians deserve truth, not failed experiments that threaten our nation.
I joined Newsmax TV to share how New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani claims to speak for less wealthy New Yorkers, but they resoundingly reject him. Exit polls show Mamdani won by double digits among primary voters earning $100K or more but lost by double digits among voters earning under $50K to primary rival Andrew Cuomo. Mamdani garnishes his speeches with references to his immigrant journey from Uganda. He’s out of touch with his roots, as data show immigrants in New York earn less than non-immigrants. Could it be that poorer, immigrant New Yorkers had enough socialist promises from leaders in the places they fled?
I recounted my firsthand experience as a Harvard graduate, witnessing the marginalization of conservative voices on campus. President Trump’s decisive action—cutting $100 million in federal contracts—forces Harvard to confront its addiction to woke ideology and antisemitism. The university’s commencement honored Elaine Kim, an anti-Israel BDS advocate, while rejecting oversight from reasonable alumni like Sam Lessin.
Now Streaming on Pure Flix and Great American Family: my conversation with Bill Abbott, CEO of Great American Media—exploring the healing journey of my memoir, Motorhome Prophecies. We discuss faith, freedom, and renewing America’s strength of mind and purpose. Grateful for this dialogue.
Wishing you a joyful Independence Day! May this new month bring relaxation, peace, and moments that inspire.
With gratitude,
Carrie
P.S I’m still feeling America’s spirit from June 6—D-Day. This year marks the 81st since Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy in 1944. Watching President Trump depart in Marine One from the White House lawn this June 6 was unforgettable. God Bless America! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
