My Wall Street Journal Letter on Harvard's Secular Bias
Only 6% of Harvard freshmen identified as Protestant, but 43% of U.S. general population
I recently finished reading a fascinating profile of longtime Harvard professor Harvey Mansfield, and it left me deeply troubled. Harvard, a place once considered a beacon of intellectual exploration, is silencing conservative voices and exhibiting a bias against Judeo-Christian values.
This is a deeper problem than politics. It's about fostering an environment that respects a rich tapestry of beliefs and encourages the pursuit of objective truth.
Can a university truly thrive without these things?
I highlighted this concern in my Wall Street Journal letter published over the weekend. Let me know your thoughts below.
Warm regards,
Carrie
