Greetings,
As 2024 draws to a close this December, we invite you to join our partners at United Charitable to embrace the season’s spirit and the Healthy Faith project with a tax-deductible gift. Your support plays a vital role to illuminate the scientifically-documented mental health benefits of faith practice.
This #GivingTuesday, consider a donation to continue our momentum this year: 30 in-person events and 90 press interviews on faith and mental health and suicide prevention. With your support, we’ll stem the tide of America’s unprecedented mental health crisis and continue our powerful impact in communities nationwide.
Elsewhere this month, I joined BBC News on Election Day and reflected on how—whether from the left or right wing—we are all part of one American Eagle. We are E pluribus unum. No matter how we voted, we are human beings first. Political divides are secondary to our primary role as children of God.
For The Daily Signal, I reported how the left-wing media's criticism of President-Elect Donald Trump's nominations contrasts with strong public support. Morning Consult found 54% approve of his transition, a figure similar to President Biden in 2020. Trump's key policies like tax cuts and mass deportations enjoy strong backing, with CBS finding 59% approving of Trump’s performance.
For U.S. News & World Report, I explained why I cast my vote for Trump. From ensuring retirement security for women to improving public safety, promoting small business growth, and supporting the gig economy, Trump has proven he’ll do more to enhance our lives than the alternative.
Also for The Daily Signal, I explored how taxpayers are rejecting misuse of their money to fund college indoctrination camps. The New College of Florida serves as a model for restoring academic freedom, led by President Richard Corcoran. Corcoran’s new book outlines effective ways to counter CRT, DEI, and Marxism, offering a pathway for saving public universities.
At GB News, I shared the journey of my memoir, Motorhome Prophecies, with new friends across the pond.
Closing this month with inspiration from Tim Keller: “Christmas means that, through the grace of God and the incarnation, peace with God is available; and if you make peace with God, then you can go out and make peace with everybody else. And the more people who embrace the gospel and do that, the better off the world is.”
In Gratitude,
Carrie
P.S. Friends in the Dallas area, we hope you’ll join a special book event with Motorhome Prophecies. Join us on December 4 at the Royal Oaks Country Club for a luncheon of connection and conversation!
